  • What Is Supplied In The Home?

    • Starter Kit consisting of 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, kitchen sponge, hand soap, dish soap, trash bags, and paper towels
    • WIFI internet Access
    • Ready-made beds with freshly laundered linens & Bath Towels


    The homes are typically not stocked with baggies, foil, etc. The starter kits provided are complimentary and are meant to cover your needs before you get to the store to do your shopping. See the property listing for a full list of amenities.

  • What Is Required To Make A Reservation?

    A deposit of 25% is required when booking your reservation. The remaining balance will be collected 60 days prior to your arrival.

  • Does The Total Include All Taxes And Fees?

    Taxes and fees are included in the online listing price. If you have any questions about prices or fees, please contact a reservation specialist by calling 941-301-8629.

  • What Types Of Extra Amenities Can I Expect?

    The property listing will have a detailed list of amenities provided in each home. If you need extras like bikes, beach equipment, pack n plays, high chairs, etc., Anchor Down has discounts with local providers that can deliver to your home, Please ask one of our friendly staff for more details.

  • Is There Air Conditioning In The Home?

    Each vacation home is equipped with central air.

  • Is There Parking At My Vacation Rental?

    Garage and/or off road parking is available at each vacation home. Parking information will be sent along with arrival instructions prior to your stay.

  • Is Daily Housekeeping Service Available?

    While your vacation rental is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your arrival, should you require a mid-stay or daily housekeeping service, it is available for an additional fee depending on the services you require.

  • What Is The Check-In Process?

    Approximately two weeks prior to your arrival date, you will receive an email with directions and check-in information. Check-in is at 4:00p.m. and Check-out is at 10:00a.m. We are unable to grant early arrivals until the day of arrival and early arrivals are not available in peak season or if another guest is departing that morning. Inspections, cleaning, and maintenance are pre-scheduled, so adhering to these times is very important.

  • Is My Pet Allowed?

    Many of our vacation rental homes do not allow pets due to allergy concerns. Rentals that do allow pets usually limit them to two (2) housebroken domestic animals (dogs) unless otherwise stated. A $100 minimum, nonrefundable fee is charged for each pet. Any pets must be approved prior to occupancy. A pet of any kind on the premises of a non-pet property is absolutely prohibited and is grounds for immediate eviction of the entire party. Please contact guest services if you have more questions.

  • What Are The Cancellation Policies?

    Cancellations must be confirmed in writing or via email. The 25% rental reservation deposit is non-refundable and cancellations made within 60 days or less of arrival will result in loss of all monies.

    There are no refunds for early departures, delayed arrivals, inclement weather, construction or reduction in the number of nights reserved for any reason. We highly recommend that guests purchase Trip cancellation insurance

  • Are The Swimming Pools Heated?

    For homes with a pool and/or a spa, Anchor Down offers pool and spa heat at an additional charge with any applicable reservation.

    Most Community pools are heated when the temperature dictates the need.

  • Will My Vacation Rental Have Internet Access?

    Yes, WiFi is a standard amenity in all Anchor Down Vacation Rentals

  • What Will We Be Responsible For When We Check Out?

    Upon checking out we ask that you please refer to the house rules page in your guest book. Failure to complete some of these tasks could result in an additional charge. Strip beds and begin wash cycle for sheets first

    • Load and start dishwasher
    • Bag any loose trash and refrigerator items in garbage bag and place in the garbage can
    • Clean BBQ if used
    • Stow pool toys tidily in garage
    • Ensure pool baby barrier is in place “if applicable”
    • Turn off lights and fans
    • Return Air Conditioning to 78F
    • Lock doors
