Welcome to our one-of-a-kind original Palma Sola Bay home with its spectacular views. This large house oozes old Florida charm with all the modern conveniences you enjoy. The house makes you feel like you have come home the minute you pull onto the circular brick drive and see the welcoming wrap-around porch. The main house greets you with a carved wooden door high ceilings and hardwood floors. With 5 spacious bedrooms, 4 full and 2 ½ baths, Living Room, Game Room, TV Room, Dining Room, modern Kitchen with granite countertops, it will become your dream vacation spot. The detached guest suite with private entrance includes 2 additional Bedrooms, full bath with shower, Living Room and Dining area with Kitchenette. Even if you invite all your family plus some friends you will not be crowded. There are beds for 17 and fold-out couch adds 2 more. The house, yard, pool and dock area are large enough for everyone to be comfortable. Your own private retreat, this property encompasses over one acre and boasts 170 ft. of water frontage including a private dock. The backyard is a perfect playground for your family framed by native trees and wildlife. Enjoy the screened-in, custom pool and gorgeous views of Palma Sola Bay. Get a glimpse of what the original Florida was like while swinging on the porch swing surrounded by towering Banyan trees, waterside Mangroves and tropical landscaping. Watch the fish jump, porpoises and manatees swim and the birds fly in and out. Experience the beauty of our sunrises and sunsets. All the privacy you want, but only minutes to the white sands and blue waters of Holmes Beach, Anna Marie Island, Bradenton Beach and many more. Easy walking distance to the Holmes Beach Causeway, grocery stores and public transportation. Fish from the private dock that extends over 100 feet out into the Bay. Clean your catch on the aluminum fish cleaning table. Bring your kayaks and paddle boards, or put your boat in the water on one of the Causeway boat ramps and anchor it at the private dock. If you dont mind a little seaweed, there is even a small private beach area. Tired of the crowded beaches watch the kids swim in the heated, oversized pool while you relax in the bubbling water of the raised spa or lounge on the comfortable poolside furniture. The 1/2 pool bath adds to the ease of being outside. Little too much sun? cool off in the large Game Room -- its not just for the kids! Have family competitions on the arcade games --Supercade MultiGame, Multicade, Super Bikes 2, Foosball table, pool table, board and card games. Cool your thirst with a cold beverage from the convenient snack area or enjoy your favorite shows on the 55inch HD Smart TV.
The modern kitchen has plenty of counter space for more than one chef and everything you will need to prepare gourmet meals. The all new stainless-steel appliances make cooking a breeze. A large pantry completes the kitchen with lots of storage space. Dining in -- the large dining room table comfortably seats ten with additional seating for four.
Rather enjoy the Florida weather? Fire up the grill in the outdoor kitchen! Every Master grillers dream -- a 36inch FireKing grill, separate side burner, granite countertops, sink, drawer refrigerator, separate beverage cooler, storage and lots of prep space. Your audience can sip a beverage at the bar while they watch you cook. When your masterpiece is complete there is seating for ten and more in the screened in lanai.
The house is a blend of the old and new, we have added modern conveniences while maintaining the uniqueness of the older home. The downstairs master bedroom is vast high ceilings, king size bed, sitting area with 55inch TV, makeup table or desk, double doors to the porch with the gorgeous views of the Bay, private bath with double shower heads, double sinks and garden tub. The tub is surrounded by large bay windows overlooking the Bay. Motorized shades have been added for your privacy. It is the perfect place for some me time.
The TV Room with a carved wooden door can be a retreat from the noise and commotion of the rest of the house with a 65 inch HD Smart TV. It has comfortable recliners and a comfortable fold-out Queen sleeper couch that can double as a 6th Bedroom in the main house. The Living Room is a sitting room for relaxing and viewing the Bay through the double glass doors that open onto the porch. A half bath off the Living Room completes the downstairs.
The additional 4 Bedrooms, 3 full Baths and Laundry Room are Upstairs. Bedroom #2 is en-suite featuring a claw foot tub, King size bed and walk-in closet. Bedroom #3 has two twin beds, built-in shelves and storage benches with a view of the Bay and walk-in closet. Bedroom #4 has a King bed, built-in shelves and storage benches overlooking the Bay with a walk-in closet. Bedroom #5 has two Queen beds and overlooks the Bay. Bathroom #3 has double sinks featuring a pocket door that separates the sinks from the toilet and shower Bathroom #4 has double sinks, toilet and tub with shower.
Need even more room, give the young adults their own space or want your own private place to get away from it all? The completely remodeled Guest House is your answer. Make your morning coffee in the Kitchenette, sit on the balcony overlooking the Bay. Enjoy some quiet time. Inside there is seating for four and more at the Dining Room table which looks out over the Bay. The Living Room features another set of double glass doors overlooking the Bay with comfortable seating and 55inch Smart TV. Bedroom #1 has a full bunk bed on the bottom and twin bunk on the top. Bedroom #2 features a King size bed. The sparkling bathroom is state-of-the-art -- glass shower with rain shower head, all new fixtures and lots of storage space.

*Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 85° is the highest heat temperature setting. Pool temperatures will probably stay around 76° during the winter months. Please note if cold days occur, water temperatures will drop and may take longer to heat.

"Over all we had a wonderful stay, plenty of space for our whole group and the house was beautiful. With that said it is an old house and had several minor issues thru out the week. However, the management company was quick to respond and resolved most in a reasonable timeframe.

"Great place to stay with large group of family. Very responsive host. Took care of minor issues right away. Also granted a late check out for which we are grateful. Location is by the water has all you'll need. I would recommend some welcome gift such as water or bottle of wine. Other smaller and less expensive places in which I have stayed offer this. I recommend this place for a wonderful vacation.

Fantastic Family Vacation Home

"Our 8 adults and 2 toddlers had plenty of elbow room in this well furnished home with a beautiful sunset view. There were pool toys and yard games as well as a pool heated to 83 and a spa that warmed to 104 in about an hour. Benefits included a small sandy area to launch our rented kayaks, boat loads of pool towels and plentiful chef tools. In the kitchen we found a hand mixer, blender, roasting pan, stock pots, buffet warming tray, pod and drip coffee pots, toaster and crock pots. There were both indoor and outdoor dinnerware sets and barware. The property manager was awesome, being attentive to my requests and taking ownership in wanting the home to present in its best light, as if it were her own. Its location is about 4 miles from the nearest Gulf beach - offering a quiet, peaceful environment to enjoy the 180 degree water views while still being a short drive to the celebration vibe of AMI. Even during Thanksgiving week, we had little trouble finding parking once on Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach.

"We absolutely loved our time at the plantation house! We stayed there with family and friends for our wedding. Everyone had a great time! We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it! The house is in great shape. The pool is awesome! There’s an outdoor kitchen at the pool that came in handy. We had the wedding dinner catered by Mattison’s and highly recommend the catering arm and restaurant on the Bradenton Riverwalk. Kristie, the property manager, was super helpful while we were planning our trip and during our stay! Our family and friends who joined us have not stopped talking about it. Five stars is not enough for this home. Cheers to the property manager and owners. Beautiful home! We hope to visit again soon!

BEST FLORIDA VACATION EVER!

"My sister found the Plantaion House on VRBO while we were planning our neice's 40th birthday celebration. It was large enough to accommodate all of us and it's on the water. When you pull onto the street you are already in awe, it is located in a quiet neighborhood filled with beautiful homes. We filled every bed in the house and apartment (and were they ever comfortable!) but we never felt crowded. The views, the pool, the beaches, the game room and having all of us together made it our "Best FL Vacation Ever". We've been going to FL our entire lives!!! Working with Kristi was effortless, she was there to answer all of ouor questions and even helped us locate a fishing charter for a large group. The only downside to the Plantaion House is that it is already booked for Christmas!! We will definitely return to the Plantation House again! Thank you!!!!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. For a family of 17, it was the idea place to stay. Plenty of things to do...the pool was great...the game room wonderful for teenagers....well supplied with board games...plenty of beach towels..and the TV room for the sports fans was great. Kitchen was very well equipped with anything you need to cook with. Two laundry areas was a must for that many people. The bedroom downstairs was a very relaxing place for us to retreat to when we got tired of all the noise. As the parents and grandparents of this gang,I would highly recommend this home and hope to be able to return someday. Thanks so much for the use of your beautiful plantation home.

"Kristi (the property manager) and the owner of this house provide the best customer service! I had question upon question and Kristi responded to each of them within the hour. She bent over backward to make sure that each request I had was accommodated. She even allowed me to tour the property ahead of time, and arranged with my lighting company to come take measurements since the rental was for an event. The home is in pristine condition, and the view of the water is spectacular. It's the perfect place to get away or have a weekend wedding or other event with friends! The master bedroom and bathroom are huge, and there are enough different rooms to have all of your friends stay with you. The wrap around porch with out door seating was my favorite part. Between the beauty of the home and the wonderful customer service, this is hands down the best property in Bradenton!

"Nice house, clean, lots of stuff for the beach and the kitchen (if you cook). Manatee beach is nice with small waves (with windy days you can even body surf!) Nice pool. We enjoyed also the 2 bbq outside! Actually, the house was what we expected, which is a good thing! Recommended! Thanks!

"Beautiful executive home in an awesome location. You might pay a little more but the property will not disappoint! We had 15 guests including children and never felt crowded. The home was emulate, clean and well maintained. It did not have the typical feel of most vacation rentals, much more like staying as a guest in a friends home. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but close to the beaches and other conveniences. Prearrival communication, Check-in and checkout was great. Highly recommended.

Plantation vacation!

"This property was absolutely wonderful, Anna Maria island was just over the bridge and the bay was full of wildlife right out back. We saw dolphins and manatees the second morning we were there. The outside grill area was perfect and we had a large buffet style bbq with everyone while we were there. This was definitely an amazing vacation home and we would rent it again in the future.

Great for a variety of ages

"The house was nice, even if it was a little over priced. The gameroom and the dock were are favorite features. When we weren't out enjoying the sights, we were out on the dock, in the pool, or in the game room. We enjoyed seeing the swimming horses with their riders. There also was a 10ft bull shark in the bay. We got the pleasure of seeing it a few times while it was hunting. The manta rays were amazing to watch. We did not see dolphins or manatees. We were told by the neighbors they hadn't seen them in over a month. Marine biologists from the University of Tampa Marine Field Studies cam out to check on the shark and take readings of the bay. They said they have been tracking the bull shark and it has been in that part of the bay for about a month. Some of the guys caught catfish off the dock. There were a couple blue crabs found in the crab trap. The beaches weren't far and they were easy to enjoy. We loved Bean Point. Beer Can Island was nice too. We went kayaking, deep sea fishing, and we rode the horses in the water. Some of us were having so much fun, we wanted to extend our stay.

Best Family Vacation EVER

"This property was spectacular for our family vacation! Extremely spacious and beautiful. The kids loved the game room, pool, fishing from the dock and the large yard. The adults loved hanging out on the big porches and enjoying the amazing views. We saw dolphins, manatees and a bald eagle! We rented a pontoon boat for the week and we all enjoyed exploring the waterways and small islands, tubing and wake boarding. The location is convenient to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants! Our entire family agreed this was the best family vacation yet!!!!!

"Excellent! The house was absolutely perfect, very well maintained and comfortable. It was very well located with scenic views in the afternoon when the sun was coming down. We were a group of 14 and it was plenty of space, rooms and beds for everybody. The kids really enjoyed the game room and of course the pool I would definitely recommend this house for a perfect vacation!

"The Plantation House is even better than pictures. We have 9 people (Grandparents, me, my husband and our 5 children ages 19-11) and we had more than enough room, plenty of entertainment between the awesome game room, pool and hot tub. The sunset views are gorgeous while dining on the patio. The kitchen has everything you need to make hime cooked meals and grocery stores are close by. This home provided us with the best family vacation before our son leaves for the Naval Academy on July 1st. We will definitely be renting again!

"I cannot say enough about this house! It is perfectly appointed, well laid out and sparkling clean. The views are outstanding, the property itself is private and very spacious. Great house for a family and or friends gathering, plenty of room with many options for sleeping arrangements. Lots of fish and dolphin off the dock. Beautiful views while having coffee on the wrap around porch and watching the dolphins in the morning. No better spot to watch sunset. We brought jet-skis and launched daily very close to the house. Lots of take out options close by and plenty of kitchen supplies if cooking in. Ample indoor and outdoor seating as well as a great outdoor kitchen area and grill. Perfect getaway in a perfect house!
