Bayou Bungalow Description

Welcome to the Bayou Bungalow! This 3 bedroom 3 bath Mediterranean style Pool home sleeps 8 comfortably and is situated in the exclusive Harbor Hills Community in NW Bradenton. This Old Florida property was built in the 1930s and offers a unique rental opportunity in a desirable location. The property is situated a short drive from the 59th st boat ramp as well as bridge fishing available just a half block from the house! Located in a prime location in Bradenton you are also a short drive from local groceries, restaurants, and the white sandy beaches of Anna Maria Island! 

When arriving to the property you instantly notice the Old Florida charm with large and mature trees surrounding the landscaping. When walking through the front door you have one of two living rooms in the property. This living room offers an additional seating area to watch movies or your favorite shows on the Smart TV. The room can be closed off and turned into a bedroom when bringing down the Murphy bed or also an office with the available desk. You also have 1 of the three bathrooms accessible from this room as well. The next area opens up to a dining room table that sits 8 comfortably along with an open kitchen and large living room overlooking the pool deck. The charming kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to make your favorite home-cooked meals to make your gathering feel like home! Enjoy cooking on the BBQ? That is also available for your use! 


When heading outside to your tropical oasis you have a large covered area with additional seating while hanging out by the pool. If you are looking to enjoy the sun the large deck has 4 loungers available that will offer sunlight for most of the day! The pool does not have a baby gate up but additional locks are put on the door for security. The pool is deep and perfect for enjoying after a long day in the Florida sun. The pool can also be heated for an additional charge during the colder months of the year. 

Trying to figure out sleeping arrangements? The three bedrooms are nicely separated for privacy. The master bedroom is located on the front left side of the house and offers a king-size bed, large smart tv and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 is located in the back left of the house and has a queen-size bed and a twin bed available for use. This bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom with double vanity sinks and a tub/ shower combo. Bedroom 3 is located on the front right side of the property through the kitchen. This bedroom also has a queen-size bed available for use. Additional sleeping is offered with the murphy bed in the front living room of the house. 

Are you looking to explore the area and enjoy the outdoors? Take a short drive to the De Soto National Memorial Park to watch the sunset. Desoto Memorial Park offers nature trails along the bay offering stunning views of the famous Skyway Bridge.  Robinson’s Preserve which offers nature walking trails, a playground for the kids, and much more is located about 2 mile from the house as well. Looking to head to the beach? This home is located less than 3 miles from the Palma Sola Causeway and 6 miles from Anna Maria Island. Conveniently located close to Publix, Starbucks, as well as a few local favorites like Joey Ds or Habeneros Mexican grill.

*Pool heaters in private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 85° is the highest heat temperature setting. Pool temperatures will probably stay around 76° during the winter months. Please note if cold days occur, water temperatures will drop and may take longer to heat. 

Damage Waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee (“Management”), plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”).
The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $1,500 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
